Ireland - April'17
Dear Owen, Paddy and all of Celtic Journeys,
I want to thank you all for a wonderful vacation! Ireland was all we hoped it would be and more, and having Paddy with us was immeasurable. His information about the places we were going to visit and random things that were happening along the ride (eg: the bogs, people putting a new thatch roof on their home, etc), gave us more of an understanding of where we were and the history of the area. The pride he has in his country was apparent. It was also great that he would give us choices on places that we could visit. One of Paddy’s suggestions was the Aran Islands, which was one of our favorite places on the trip!
All of the hotels and B&B’s in each town were lovely. They were all in great locations and we felt like we were immersed in the town right away. Our favorite place was Killarney Lodge. It was such a homey feeling to walk in after a day of sightseeing to a nice fire in the fireplace.
Planning the vacation with you was effortless. You took care of everything and we always felt very well taken care of.
Ireland is a beautiful country to explore. The Irish people are some of the friendliest people I have ever encountered in all my travels around the world. We cannot wait to come back and further our adventures in this beautiful land, and of course it will be with Celtic Journeys! Thanks so much again!
Italy - September '17
Finally ☺ have a few minutes to reach out to you since we have been home. Hope you are doing well. We had a LOVELY trip.
It was so amazing from beginning to end. Tuscany and Amalfi- Positano were perfect choices for us. The accommodations were over the top beautiful. It was a perfect balance between rolling hills- vineyards scenery to the beautiful beaches of the Amalfi Coast. Breathtaking!
Drivers were all great and each one with their own unique personality. They were very courteous, delightful and a very fun part of our trip. So much better then us driving… oh my that would have proved interesting. It was worth every penny.
Thank you so much for planning this memorable fantastic trip for us. We will forever remember and treasure this time in Italy. It was perfect.

New Zealand & Fiji - July'17
They do more than Ireland! Jean planned an amazing trip for my husband and I to New Zealand and Fiji! She gave us the best options for our budget and went above and beyond. Everything about the trip was perfect from start to finish. She also accommodated my busy schedule and kept most of the communication via email so that I stayed in the loop! Top notch!
Ireland - December '17
I loved the planned activities combined with lots of free time. I love group trips, but often feel rushed. Not this trip. It was the perfect combination. I very much enjoyed touring the Cushendale and Kerry Woolen mills and Lorcan’s walking tour (Dublin)…The trip was an amazing value. I couldn’t believe the extremely nice hotels and meals that we received for such a low cost.

Ireland - June'17
Our trip was wonderful! We really enjoyed our time in Ireland [except the narrow roads :-) ]. Our favorite stay was in BallyCastle at Stella Maris, what a great little town that is off the beaten tourist path. We also enjoyed the town and our accommodations in Kinsale. The two story room at the Old Presbytery was fantastic and we wish we had more time there. Dingle Peninsula was a fun drive and we got enough of the RoK drive on our way to Kinsale.
Just wanted to thank you for your input for our trip.
Ireland - July'17
Our group of six looked at a number of companies specializing in tours of Ireland before selecting Celtic Journeys. Working with Maria was a snap. She was attentive to our needs, she constructed an itinerary that was tailored to our personal interests and requirements, and she was timely and responsive in communicating with us. When we got to Ireland, we were all delighted to find that everything was exactly as had been represented and everything went off without a hitch. We couldn’t be more pleased.
Our driver, Paddy Grant, should be a national treasure. He was a joy to work with and he is a fount of information. He offered great suggestions and he never steered us wrong. We saw some things that we never would have known about but for Paddy. Our coach was roomy and comfortable.
Every place we stayed had its own unique charm. Perryville House in Kinsale, Ballynahinch Castle in Galway, and Harvey’s Point near Donegal Town were especially spectacular. Our hotels in Waterford, Killarney and Dublin were centrally located, which made walking tours of those cities very easy.
Paddy Grant was wonderful. He took us where we wanted to go and was helpful and accommodating. He was extraordinarily knowledgeable about historical, economic, and social matters and his commentary at appropriate places was welcome and informative. His suggestions for things to do and things to see – some of which included things we had never heard of, such as a jaunty ride through the Gap of Dunloe – were absolute highlights of our trip. He never steered us wrong.

Ireland - July'17
Just settling in at work! The trip was fantastic. Everyone was amazed at how perfectly smooth everything went. All 12 were very impressed and have the best memories ever.
Owen was amazing and all agreed that without Owen things would have not been the same. He was gracious every step of the way and went out of his way to accommodate everyone’s needs right down to the groom who proposed to Marisa.
Thank you again for all of your hard work. You will never know what this trip has meant to me and my family. A dream come true.
Have a grand day!
Ireland - September'17
Hi Jean and Maria,
I can't thank you enough for the fabulous Celtic Journeys tour of the West of Ireland. Everything exceeded my expectations-the friendly people, gorgeous and diverse scenery, great accommodations, excellent food and our tour guide, George. Having never been to Europe, this was a dream trip come true!
The extra work you did to arrange for transportation and lodging for us from Prague to Dublin to Bunratty was spot on! I will be recommending you to all my friends.
Ireland felt like home for me in so many ways, but particularly in a spiritual way. And since my husband, who has passed, was the Irishman, he was there with me all the way.
