Mary Penxa & Sawmill Creek Fiber Events
Sawmill Creek Fiber Events hosts "fiber friendly" activities, trips, retreats and learning experiences. If you are a knitter, crocheter, weaver, spinner or are just interested in all things fiber-related. Join Mary as you travel through rugged parts of Ireland that hold many centuries of tradition in wool and weaving. From Galway to the Aran Islands and onto Donegal before returning to Dublin.
With hands on classes, visits to wool shops and a chance to meet local knitting experts in their own environment, this truly is a great opportunity to experience the craft in its natural state, in a country steeped in its traditional ways.
