Saturday 25th June: Depart USA for Ireland
Depart USA on your overnight flight to Ireland
Sunday 26th June: Dublin - Galway
Arrive Dublin airport and after clearing immigration and customs, your driver/guide will
be waiting in the arrivals hall. Travel through the Midlands with a stop at Clonmacnoise
the 6th century monastic settlement founded by St Ciaran. Continue on to Galway and
the village of Barna for overnight at your hotel. Welcome dinner at the hotel.
Monday 27th June: Connemara Day tour
Breakfast at the hotel followed by a day tour of the scenic bog and mountain landscape
of Connemara with a leisurley drive through the beautiful Inagh Valley. Option will be
available for anyone wishing to visit the Aran Islands. Dinner at your hotel
Tuesday 28th June: Galway to Dingle
Depart Galway and travel along the shores of Galway Bay as you head to the Cliffs of
Moher to spend some time exploring. Continue south along the Co. Clare coastline to
Lahinch, Kilrush to Killimer and take the ferry across the Shannon to Tarbert in Co. Kerry.
Travelling on through Tralee to the harbour town of Dingle for dinner and overnight at
your hotel.
Wednesday 29th June: Dingle Daytour
Leisurely breakfast followed by a tour on the spectacular Dingle Peninsula. With its
stunning seascapes and ancient Beehive Huts. Later return to Dingle with time to explore
the town on your own. Evening at leisure for dinner.
Thursday 30th June: Dingle to Waterford
From Dingle travel to Killarney to enjoy a guided tour of Muckross House situated in
Killarney National Park. Time to enjoy the beautiful gardens before heading on through
Blarney with a short stop (optional visit to kiss the famous stone of eloquence). Continue
east through Dungarvan to Waterford, the oldest city in Ireland for overnight and dinner.
Today is the arrival of the Tallships into the harbour. Your hotel is located right on the
Quay, perfect for viewing the event.
Friday 1st July: Waterford - Kilkenny - New Ross
Today, we enjoy a visit to the medieval city of Kilkenny with its beautiful Norman Castle.
After some free time , we travel through the picturesque village of Inistioge to
New Ross (homestead of the Kennedy Clan)and visit the Dunbrody Famine Ship to learn
about the experience of immigrants on their voyage to a new world. Return to Waterford
for overnight with evening at leisure.
Saturday 2nd July: Waterford Coastal Tour
Breakfast at your hotel followed by a leisurely tour of the beautiful south-east coastline.
Enjoy a stroll on the beach and stop at a local pub for some refreshments before
returning to Waterford for dinner.
Sunday 3rd July: Waterford - Dublin
We depart Waterford and travel directly to Dublin for early arrival. Prior to Check in at
your hotel, we will have a panoramic overview of the capital city. The rest of the
afternoon will be free for shopping or exploring. Tonight enjoy a farewell dinner in a
local restaurant.
Monday 4nd July: Dublin - USA
Depart to Dublin airport for your flight home.
